The Texas Fire Chiefs Association, the Texas Association of Fire Educators, and the International Association of Fire Chiefs - Southwest Division invite you to Southwest Fire Rescue 2012. Southwest Fire Rescue will be held March 10, 2012 through March 15, 2012 at the Embassy Suites and Convention Center in Frisco, Texas.

Southwest Division Assistance to Firefighter Grant Recipients

Southwest Division fire departments have received 67 grants so far for the award year 2011. The primary goal of the Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) is to meet the firefighting and emergency response needs of fire departments. Congratulations to each organization for their efforts securing this vital funding.

Las Cruces Fire Department Awarded SAFER Grant

LCFD Badge and Patch Las Cruces Fire Department is awarded a FEMA Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response Grants (SAFER). LCFD received $1,287,336 for hiring new firefighters.

Santa Fe County Awarded SAFER Grant

Santa Fe County Fire Department is awarded a FEMA Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response Grants (SAFER). Santa Fe County received $499,200 for Volunteer Recruitment & Retention Program.
