Code of Conduct

All attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers at all SWD-IAFC events are required to agree to the following code of conduct. Organizers will enforce this code throughout the event. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.

SWD-IAFC is dedicated to providing a harassment-free event experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity, and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants or venue staff in any form. Participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event without a refund at the discretion of the organizers.

Assumption of Risk and Hold Harmless
SWD-IAFC events and activities are purely voluntary activities, and attendees are fully responsible for their conduct and well-being. In participating in any event or activity, attendees shall be deemed to understand and accept all risks of possible injuries that might occur as a result of such participation. Attendees agree to release and hold harmless SWD-IAFC and CMP Management and their employees, officers, representatives, and agents from any and all alleged and/or actual liability, claims, actions, lawsuits, damages, or losses of any kind that arise out of or result from attendance and participation at SWD-IAFC events. Attendees agree to release and hold harmless SWD-IAFC and CMP Management and its employees, officers, representatives, and agents from any claims, demands, and causes of action arising out of or relating to your participation in the event you are registering to participate in and use associated facilities or hotels.

Attendee Cancellations
A full refund will be given for written requests received 6 weeks prior to the event. A 50% refund will be issued for written requests received 3 weeks prior to the event. No refunds will be issued after cancellation deadline: 3 weeks prior to the event. Cancellations must be received in writing from the original registrant to info@swd-iafc.org. No cancellations will be taken by phone.

Registrants who do not attend the conference and/or do not contact SWD-IAFC via written correspondence during the set window as directed above will be responsible for the full attendee registration fee.

Attendee Substitutions
Substitute attendees may be named 5 days prior to the event or during onsite registration. Notification of substitution must be submitted in writing from the original registrant to info@swd-iafc.org . No substitutions will be taken by phone.

Photo/Video Release
SWD-IAFC retains the right and permission to publish, without further charge, photographs, and videos taken during this event. These photographs and videos may be used in publications, including electronic publications, or in audio-visual presentations, promotional literature, advertising, or similar ways. By registering and participating in this event, I voluntarily consent to be recorded and photographed by SWD-IAFC.
